Vinyl Fair

The popularity of recorded vinyl prompted me to curate Brisbane’s largest vinyl fair that would activate the South Bank Cultural Precinct and draw people in the cultural institutions. The iconic Whale Mall was transformed into a stage for 1000s of records, people and conversations about music. Three DJs, workshops, and exhibitions of rare record artwork created a day of retro record mania attracting diverse audiences from morning to dusk. The event also attracted copious media and hipster bloggers.
