Pedal

Pedal Festival was an innovative partnership with a young team of Brisbane artists. We collaboratively curated a three-month program of films, workshops, photo exhibitions, ABC Radio National debates and a massive bike rally throughout Brisbane city. The program complimented and gave context to the Freewheeling: Cycling in Australia exhibition at the Museum on display at the time. Young Start Up bicycle industries were part of the program, demonstrating new bikes and equipment. The weekend event featured repair workshops, bike polo, BMX tracks, bike buses and bike fashion.
